Job summary

Hyatt Place Austin Downtown is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to provide exceptional guest room cleaning and service. You will ensure rooms and bathrooms are clean, sanitary, and inviting, restock supplies, and maintain a spotless housekeeping cart.

Applicants should demonstrate guest-focused service, reliability, and strong attention to detail. Weekend and holiday availability is required as needed, and training will include a certification sign-off.

Qualifications

• Guest focus and customer service skills.
• Reliable and dependable housekeeper.
• Attention to detail.
• Cleaning experience of 1 year helps, but is not required.
• Certification sign-off after completing training.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality housekeeping service to guests and anticipate needs.
• Ensure guest rooms and bathrooms are clean, sanitary, and sparkling.
• Strip dirty linen, empty trash, clean bathrooms, make beds, dust and vacuum, restock rooms.
• Clean, organize, and restock housekeeping cart.
• Self-inspect rooms and report status to Supervisor upon completion.
• Follow all safety standards to keep the property safe for guests and colleagues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
