Job summary

The Room Attendant role at Vista Host Management & Development for the Avid Hotel Memphis Southaven is responsible for keeping guest rooms and public areas clean and welcoming, restocking amenities, and reporting maintenance issues to ensure high standards of service.

This position requires a strong eye for detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently as part of a housekeeping team. Flexibility to cover nights, weekends, and holidays is essential to maintain guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 200 lbs.
• Basic reading and writing skills.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide a clean and safe environment for guests by cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and common areas.
• Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, clean floors, and restock linens and toiletries.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and deliver items from the front desk when needed.
• Report safety, maintenance, or housekeeping concerns to management.
• Greet guests in public spaces and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
