Summary: Housekeeping Room Attendants maintain cleanliness and appearance of the hotel, all the while providing amazing service to our guests along the way.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Perform cleaning activities including sweeping, mopping, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, disposing trash, and servicing guest rooms daily.
2. Replace linens, replenish supplies, and rearrange furnishings in guest rooms.
3. Provide linens and amenities as per guest room standards.
4. Assist in moving linens throughout the hotel.
5. Ensure rooms are in uniform arrangement, doors are securely closed and locked after cleaning.
6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
7. Respond promptly to guest requests.
8. Maintain professional etiquette with guests and team members.
9. Report damages, hazards, repairs, and suspicious activity.
10. Handle lost and found items appropriately.
11. Assist in cleaning public areas as needed.
12. Clean corridors and service areas.
13. Follow disinfecting and sanitizing policies.
14. Restock carts and organize workspaces at shift end.
15. Report unusual circumstances or guest issues to supervision.
16. Maintain personal appearance and grooming standards.
17. Report suspicious activity and know emergency procedures.
18. Follow operational and safety regulations.
19. Be knowledgeable about hotel services and amenities.
20. Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service.
21. Adhere to quality standards and guidelines.
22. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in hotel cleaning beneficial.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and speed.
• Basic English comprehension for instructions and guest requests.
• Physical ability to scrub, reach overhead, bend, twist, and work in confined spaces.
• Must be able to move and lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver loaded carts.
• Effective communication skills and team spirit.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical and Mental Demands:

• Visual, auditory, and tactile abilities; ability to handle up to 50 pounds.
