Job summary

Shaner Hotels at the DoubleTree by Hilton Neenah in Wisconsin is hiring a Housekeeper to maintain guest room cleanliness and supply restocking, ensuring guests experience comfort and safety in a busy on-site hotel. Responsibilities include reporting maintenance issues, handling guest requests, and complying with safety rules; occasional deep cleaning tasks are scheduled.

Weekend and holiday shifts may be required to meet guest needs.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of cleaning experience; hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate with guests and staff effectively.
• Knowledge of safe chemical handling and storage.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and service areas to franchise and hotel standards.
• Report maintenance deficiencies and guest requests or complaints.
• Adhere to safety, security, and housekeeping procedures; restock carts; perform extra cleaning tasks as scheduled.

Be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Housekeeping is a great day-time position!

• Maintains standards of quality and cleanliness throughout daily assignments.
• Observes all house and safety rules, housekeeping room procedures, and security procedures.
• Cleans and services assigned guest rooms by category priority according to franchise and hotel standards.
• Returns and restocks cart at end of shift.
• Complete additional deep cleaning / seasonal cleaning functions as scheduled.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

Clean guest rooms as assigned, ensuring the hotel's established standards of cleanliness. Responsible for reporting any maintenance deficiencies and handling guest requests or complaints. Ensures the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year cleaning experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
