Job summary

AC Hotel Minneapolis Downtown, operated by Sage Hospitality, is hiring a housekeeping associate. You will clean guest rooms to ensure guest satisfaction and maximize revenues, restock supplies, and maintain a clean facility.

Typical duties include cleaning rooms and public areas, restocking amenities, and ensuring safety and order throughout shifts. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a $500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products and operation of standard cleaning equipment.
• Must be able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves items from shelves and storerooms, sets up cleaning cart with supplies, maintaining carts and storerooms in a clean and orderly fashion.
• Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures in rooms, public areas and hallways to maintain a clean, presentable facility.
• Replaces towels, soaps and all room amenities and restocks literature that has been removed by previous guest or is soiled.
• Washes all hard floor areas by hand to remove dirt and soiled areas.
• Dusts and polishes all furniture and fixtures, removing dust and cobwebs.
• Strips bed linens and remakes beds with fresh linens and blankets.
