Job summary

Highgate Hotels in Amarillo is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean, attractive guestrooms and deliver courteous service to guests. You’ll perform cleaning tasks, restock supplies, and assist in keeping public areas pristine while upholding safety and guest satisfaction.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to stand for long periods, and clear communication. This full-time position includes benefits and opportunities within a hospitality-focused team at Courtyard Amarillo.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent or hotel-related experience preferred.
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties (supplies, linen, etc.).
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways and public areas clean and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cart for next day’s use.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle Lost and Found items per standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
