Job summary

Highgate Hotels, LP operates Residence Inn El Paso, seeking a Room Attendant to maintain clean, inviting guestrooms and provide courteous service to guests.

The role includes thorough room cleaning, restocking carts, reporting maintenance, and ensuring guest satisfaction. Prior hotel or related field experience is preferred; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties including guest supplies and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed.
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day’s use.
• Replenish chemical bottles and supplies.
• Report missing items from rooms to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle Lost and Found items according to standards and ensure guest satisfaction.
