Job summary

Sojourn Suites in Portland, OR is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain cleanliness and supply in guest rooms and suites according to hotel standards. You will perform daily cleaning, restock amenities, and assist guests with information about hotel services and facilities.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, basic reading and math skills, and the ability to communicate clearly. This on-site role offers a range of benefits and flexible scheduling to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read a limited number of 2 and 3 syllable words.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning assigned rooms/suites daily.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, dusting and polishing surfaces.
• Cleaning showers, tubs, sinks and bathroom items.
• Making beds.
• Removing used amenities and replacing them as necessary.
• Providing information to guests about hotel services and facilities.
• Reporting maintenance items to supervisor.
