Job summary

AH CAPPS LLC is hiring a Room Attendant in Opelika, AL. The role focuses on maintaining guest room cleanliness and the overall appearance of the property, while delivering friendly, attentive service to guests and colleagues.

You will clean rooms and public areas, report maintenance issues, and ensure supplies are stocked. The position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for hotel discounts and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Complete all required brand-specific training
• Complete all required health and safety training
• Adhere to all company and property-specific brand standards
• Provide personalized, friendly service to every guest and associate
• Clean guest rooms and public areas; report deficiencies or equipment malfunctions to Maintenance
• Make beds neatly with fresh linens
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including basins, bathtubs, toilets, and tile floors
• Replenish room supplies and place clean towels accordingly
• Vacuum rooms and hallways
• Report room status (vacant/clean or occupied/clean) to the Executive Housekeeper
• Safeguard the security of guests, employees, and hotel assets
• Assist fellow employees, guests, and other departments when needed
• Maintain knowledge of fire alarm and evacuation procedures

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and corridors.
• Accommodate guests' reasonable needs with courteous, pleasant responses.
• Clean rooms and public areas; report deficiencies or equipment malfunctions to Maintenance.
• Make beds with fresh linens and replenish supplies.
• Vacuum rooms and hallways, empty waste cans, and dust surfaces.
• Report room status to the Executive Housekeeper and assist other departments as needed.
