Job summary

S&L Hospitality in Hillsborough, NC is seeking a Room Attendant to clean guest rooms and bathrooms to meet high standards of cleanliness. The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and a guest-focused attitude, with a preference for a 8am–5pm shift and weekend availability.

The position requires lifting up to 20+ lbs, standing for long periods, and a flexible schedule to meet business needs. Training, 401(k) eligibility after 6 months, and PTO are offered by the company.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, pull, more than 20 lbs. often housekeeper carts can weigh more than 30 lbs. or more to push, pull.
• Ability to stand for long period of time and perform repetitive motions.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
• Detail-orientated individual who is able to focus his/her cleaning responsibilities, ensuring that each room set up is completed as required by the property.
• Ability to maintain a composed, gracious and professional attitude.
• Ability to accept criticism and work well under pressure.
• This position is subject to successful completion of a background check as it relates to the responsibilities of the role.

Responsibilities

• Replenish items in rooms for guest use, including but not limited to towels, linens, and amenities.
• Thoroughly clean the guest room and bathroom area as assigned, (i.e. vacuuming, dusting, changing bed linen, emptying trash cans).
• Report any maintenance needs or items left behind from the guest to the appropriate department.
• Become familiar and knowledgeable with the hotel's safety and emergency procedures.
• Meet hotel and company standards of cleanliness.
