Job summary

InTown Suites is seeking a Housekeeper to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests at our San Antonio location. You will perform routine and deep cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, laundry areas, and common spaces, ensuring cleanliness standards and guest satisfaction.

The role requires ability to follow SOPs, handle multiple tasks, and deliver excellent service, with emphasis on guest comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of housekeeping and laundry standard operating procedures and techniques.
• Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Ability to clean the minimum required rooms per shift.
• Ability to scrub and scour surfaces and lift overhead when cleaning.
• Ability to perform multiple housekeeping tasks in response to business needs.
• Ability to visually inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and presentation.
• Ability to manage multiple activities in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms according to SOPs.
• Remove trash and debris from guest rooms and surrounding areas.
• Ensure all hotel areas meet company standards.
• Clean bathrooms including tubs, toilets, sinks, and lighting.
• Clean kitchen and dining areas including fridge and tables.
• Vacuum and wash floors per SOPs.
• Dust and polish furnishings and appliances.
• Clean exterior areas of rooms (siding, A/C grills, doors, windows).
• Notify Head Guest Room Attendant of room readiness.
• Restock housekeeping cart at the end of shift.
• Operate housekeeping equipment following procedures.
• Report safety or security violations to supervisor.
• Maintain high-level customer service with guests.
