Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with hotel guests and understand requests.
• Ability to use cleaning equipment including vacuum and safety gear.
• Ability to move around the work area efficiently.
• Ability to stand/walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cleans hotel rooms, hallways, linen rooms, employee and storage areas to standard.
• Maintains and cleans equipment used during a shift per SOP.
• Maintains proper documentation of duties performed during a shift.
• Reports safety hazards or maintenance deficiencies for proper handling.
• Greet guests and respond to guest requests.
• Keeps the operating cart clean and stocked with supplies.
• Cleans assigned floors and removes trash and linens.
• Turns in lost and found items to management promptly.
• Restocks each guest room with standardized amenities.
• Performs all housekeeping duties and related tasks as required.
