Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to maintain guest room cleanliness according to company standards. The role involves stocking supplies, following entry procedures, and ensuring safety across the property.

The position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to varying shifts and tasks. A team-oriented environment with opportunities to contribute to guest satisfaction and property upkeep is offered.

Qualifications

• Basic physical stamina and ability to stand, bend and reach for extended periods.
• Good communication and observation skills.
• Ability to follow established cleaning procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Stocks housekeeping bag to ensure that enough cleaning needs, equipment and amenities are available to properly clean each room.
• Observes knocking procedures upon entering a guest room.
• Cleans the guest rooms assigned and ensures amenities are stocked; completes the housekeeping checklist.
• Accurately marks clean rooms to supervisor for inspection.
• Reports damages or hazards present in guest rooms to management or Housekeeping Coordinator.
• Keeps corridors and service areas neat at all times; secures doors and turns in lost and found items.
• Adheres to all company policies and procedures; follows safety and security procedures and rules.
• Knows department fire prevention and emergency procedures; utilizes protective equipment; reports unsafe conditions to management.
• All team members maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance; performs related duties as requested and assists other housekeeping staff when needed.
