Job summary

Omni Viking Lakes Hotel is seeking a Guest Room Attendant to maintain a high standard of cleanliness in each guest room, refresh rooms for continuing guests, and thoroughly clean rooms after checkout in preparation for the next guest.

The position offers entry into a luxury environment on a 200-acre mixed-use site near the Vikings HQ and orthopedics center, with a benefit package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, maternity leave, and discounts at Omni properties and local venues.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Willingness to stand for 8 hours at a time.
• Willingness to bend, stretch, reach, and push up to 20 lbs.
• Willingness to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous housekeeping experience strongly preferred.
• Must communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, vacuuming, and dusting.
• Restock and replace used items within guest rooms.
• Communicate clean status of each room upon completion.
• Remove room service trays and tables from guest rooms.
• Stock supply cart and keep it neat and organized.
• Check equipment before and after use to ensure it is in good working order.
• Respond to all hotel guests efficiently and in a friendly manner.
