Job summary

Wequassett is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain high cleanliness standards for guest rooms and public spaces. You will perform daily cleaning duties, change linens, dust and vacuum rooms, and restock amenities to meet established SOPs.

The role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Training will cover safety, SOPs, and guest service expectations.

Qualifications

• One year of housekeeping experience in a commercial setting.
• Hotel experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean guest rooms and bathrooms to hotel SOPs.
• Make beds with clean linen and replace linens daily.
• Dust rooms including end tables, desks and dressers.
• Vacuum all guest rooms daily.
• Restock room amenities and literature as prescribed by SOPs.
• Empty wastebaskets and replace liners.
• Return lost items to housekeeping at day end.
• Communicate completed rooms to supervisor and report any issues.
• Attend housekeeping meetings and participate in preventive cleaning programs.
