Job summary

S&L Hospitality is looking for a Room Attendant for Baraboo. The role primarily runs the 1st shift, typically 8am–5pm, with weekend availability and prior housekeeping experience desired.

You will be part of a team dedicated to guest satisfaction. Responsibilities include replenishing towels, linens, and amenities; thoroughly cleaning rooms and bathrooms; reporting maintenance needs; and adhering to safety procedures and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, push, pull more than 20 lbs; carts can weigh more than 40 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions.
• Flexible schedule to meet business needs.
• Detail-oriented and able to ensure rooms are cleaned as required by the property.
• Maintain a composed, gracious and professional attitude.
• Able to accept criticism and work well under pressure.
• Able to work independently and efficiently.
• Position subject to successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

• Replenish items in rooms for guest use, including towels, linens, and amenities.
• Thoroughly clean the guest room and bathroom area as assigned (vacuuming, dusting, changing linens, trash).
• Report maintenance needs or items left behind from the guest to the appropriate department.
• Become familiar with the hotel's safety and emergency procedures.
• Meet hotel and company cleanliness standards.
