Job summary

The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado, is hiring a full-time housekeeping associate. The role cleans and prepares guest rooms to established standards, ensuring guest satisfaction and maximizing revenues, with pay of $21/hour.

Qualifications

• No formal education or training.
• Must be able to understand and follow verbal/written instructions and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Retrieves items from storerooms, sets up cleaning cart and maintains it clean and orderly.
• Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures in rooms and public areas.
• Restocks towels, soaps and amenities, and literature as needed.
• Washes floors and cleans hard surfaces throughout rooms.
• Dusts and polishes furniture and fixtures, including vents and corners.
• Remakes beds with fresh linens and pillows; checks under bed for cleanliness.
• Inspects closet cleanliness and restocks supplies.
• Vaccuums rooms and public areas, moving furniture as needed.
• Inspects door and window locks; reports maintenance issues.
• Inspects room equipment and reports issues for repair.
• Secures equipment and supplies; maintains a friendly demeanor.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
