Job summary

The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, CO, managed by Sage Hospitality Group, is seeking a maintenance technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel systems. The role requires practical skills in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry, along with reliable teamwork and independent decision-making.

Training and on-site work are provided in a historic property with diverse facilities. Open until 8/31/2026 or until filled, compensation is $21–$23 per hour, with full benefits for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school is a plus.
• At least 6 months of successful experience in building maintenance or a similar role.
• Ability to repair HVAC, electrical, and plumbing equipment and perform related carpentry tasks.
• Ability to drive a pickup truck and operate snow removal equipment when required.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and independent decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest requests in a courteous, efficient, and safe manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on hotel equipment (kitchen, laundry, boiler, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and guest rooms).
• Monitor engineering functions, handle emergencies (fire alarms, power failures), and notify authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular rounds to ensure systems are functioning and safe.
• Maintain accurate logs, complete work orders, and document parts used for future reference.
• Manage elevator issues and update preventive maintenance records.
