Job summary

InterContinental 62s Group plc is seeking a Room Attendant to ensure our rooms and suites are fresh and welcoming for guests after a busy day. You’ll keep spaces spotless and create a haven for guests to relax.

This role requires physical fitness, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. You’ll log lost and found items, assist with deep cleaning, and coordinate with other hotel departments to deliver top service.

Qualifications

• Physical role requiring standing most of the day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (23 kg) and push/pull heavy objects.
• Literacy in reading, writing and basic maths.
• Flexible attitude to shifts – nights, weekends and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Make sure rooms are clean and welcoming for guests.
• Assist guests with basic needs and directions.
• Keep supervisor updated on room service progress and repairs.
• Follow established safety procedures and wear PPE as required.
• Manage supplies and amenities, and minimise waste.
• Log lost and found items and reunite with owners.
• Maintain a smart appearance and wear the uniform with pride.
• Work with other departments to ensure high service quality.
• May assist with deep cleaning projects and occasional turndown duties.
• Take on other duties as assigned.
