Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking a Room Attendant to ensure our rooms and suites remain fresh and welcoming for guests after a busy day, creating a haven to escape and relax in. This role requires staying on your feet, lifting up to 50 pounds, and flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

You’ll work with a team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest service across rooms.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit for a fast-paced role.
• Ability to read simple instructions and perform basic math.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare rooms and suites to brand standards.
• Assist guests with basic needs (toothbrushes, directions, etc.).
• Notify supervisor of progress and any repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment as required.
• Manage supplies and amenities to minimize waste.
• Log lost-and-found items and reunite with owners.
• Maintain a neat uniform and professional appearance.
• Support deep cleaning tasks and occasional turndown duties.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure top service quality.
