Job summary

Driftwood Hospitality Management is seeking a Housekeeping Associate at the Springfield Crowne Plaza in Springfield, IL. You will clean guest rooms, stock amenities, and follow safety procedures to meet company standards.

Responsibilities include turning in lost and found, reporting damages, maintaining a neat workspace, and supporting the housekeeping team as needed. This role offers part-time or full-time schedules and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Ability to bend, reach and dust, and to make beds and bathrooms.
• Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods.
• Talk to guests and teammates to provide information and services.
• Visually inspect rooms for cleanliness and belongings left behind.
• Use written paperwork to mark room status.
• Move fingers, arms and hands quickly to perform cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain assigned guest rooms to company standards.
• Stock housekeeping cart with cleaning supplies, amenities and equipment.
• Enter rooms following proper knock procedures and secure doors after leaving.
• Inspect rooms and report damages or hazards in Guestware or to supervisor.
• Keep corridors and work areas neat and safe, and handle lost and found items.
• Follow all safety, security and department procedures.
• Assist other housekeeping staff as needed.
