Job summary

Kaizen Lab Inc. is seeking a hotel housekeeping associate responsible for cleaning and preparing guest rooms to standard. You will restock supplies, assist with entry areas, and operate housekeeping equipment safely. You must understand emergency procedures and manage keys/work orders in a timely manner.

The role involves assisting guests with questions, accommodating special requests, and performing miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned rooms according to property standards.
• Place and restock usable items in the suite including paper items, soap, towels, matches, and candy, according to System Standards.
• Clean immediate exterior entry areas and windows, according to standards.
• Operate housekeeping equipment in a correct and safe manner.
• Maintain and restock housekeeping cart each day.
• Know hotel emergency procedures.
• Responsible for the proper administration of key control for issued keys, or keys left by guests in suite.
• Bring all lost and found items to the Executive Housekeeper's office for logging and storage.
• Report immediately to the Executive Housekeeper any out of the ordinary situation in the guests' suite, including unreported pets, parties in the suite, unusually dirty sites or a vacant suite when the room is though to be occupied.
• Complete maintenance work orders and deliver to Inspector or designated area in a timely manner.
• Accommodates guest special requests courteously.
• Answer guest questions regarding hotel and local area facilities and services.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned; reasonable requests from a supervisor.
