Description

Position Summary

Responsible for efficiently cleaning and servicing guest rooms to established standards to ensure a positive and memorable guest experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Change bed linens and duvet covers daily.
2. Vacuum the entire guest room area daily.
3. Dust all furniture and surfaces daily.
4. Thoroughly clean bathroom areas including wash tub, tiles, sink, floor, toilet, walls, and doors.
5. Replenish guest rooms with amenities and housekeeping supplies.
6. Inspect rooms for cleanliness and report any maintenance issues.
7. Provide excellent customer service to guests.
8. Attend and complete all required training.
9. Handle lost and found items properly.
10. Comply with all SOPs and safety procedures.
11. Remove food service trays, microwaves, and other equipment as needed.
12. Assist in training new staff as assigned.
13. Work harmoniously with team members and maintain punctuality.

Additional Responsibilities

Perform other duties as assigned.

Success will be measured by KPIs shared with team members, with feedback provided during performance reviews.

• Ability to follow instructions and multitask.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• No experience necessary; training provided.
• Preferred: High School diploma or GED, previous housekeeping experience.

Licenses/Certifications

• Must pass background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
• Physical activities include balancing, climbing, crawling, crouching, feeling, finger dexterity, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, seeing, walking, sitting, standing, stooping, talking.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to fumes, odors, dust, gases, poor ventilation.
• Noise levels requiring shouting.
• Exposure to oscillating movements.
