The Guest Relations Host will play an integral role in the Kia Forum Guest Experience. Hosts will provide guests with event information, guidance, and problem solving. Hosts must be approachable, positive, and confident in their ability to resolve issues clearly and concisely.

The role is part-time, based in Inglewood, CA. Hosts must be available to work flexible schedules, including weeknights, weekends, and holidays.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

1. Represent the Kia Forum by greeting and welcoming guests positively.
2. Assist guests with questions related to mobility and accommodations, and be proactive about accessibility policies.
3. Help guests with wayfinding and informational needs, requiring extensive venue knowledge.
4. Follow all standards, expectations, and policies of Guest Relations to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment.
5. Communicate professionally to convey venue policies and respond to guest needs.
6. Coordinate effectively with other departments during events.
7. Use technology and tools proficiently to perform duties.
8. Perform job duties safely and efficiently without accepting monetary value.
9. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, or guest services preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Poised, well-spoken, professional appearance and demeanor, with strong listening skills.
• Welcoming, positive, and energetic personality.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication in English; multilingual skills (Spanish, Korean, Japanese) are a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Lift or move equipment up to 40 pounds.
• Stand, sit, or remain stationary during shifts.
• Bend, reach overhead and horizontally.
• Work at various heights.
• Work indoors and outdoors, including in inclement weather.
• Exposure to high noise levels and vibrations.

Compensation

• $22/hour.
