Serves as the first point of contact for prospective students, families, counselors, and other guests of the Yale Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Oversees the daily operation of the admissions reception area, ensuring visitors receive exceptional service while coordinating a high-volume schedule of tours, information sessions, and special events.
Coordinates key operational functions that support the office's visitor experience, which includes addressing student inquiries, writing professional correspondence to prospective students and campus partners, maintaining departmental scheduling, preparing presentation materials for daily information sessions, and assisting with the planning and execution of individual and group visits. Collaborates closely with admissions officers to ensure seamless daily operations and timely, accurate responses to online inquiries through the office’s customer relationship management software. The position requires sound judgment, strong organizational skills, and flexibility to adapt in a public-facing position.
This position is an on-site role as the primary responsibility is to greet the public on campus.
