Responsibilities include greeting guests, verifying visitor status in the Visitor Management System, checking authorization in Epic, de-escalating challenging interactions, and supporting the smooth, professional operation of the Visitor Management Program with minimal supervision.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conducts mandatory health screenings for all visitors and records results in the Visitor Management System before allowing entry.
• Verifies visitor status and issues badges using the Visitor Management System.
• Serves as a welcoming representative of CHCO, delivering high-quality customer service to patients, families, visitors, and team members with professionalism and courtesy.
• Enforces hospital visitor policies; confirms authorized visitors in Epic and initiates the patient registration process when applicable.
• De-escalates challenging situations involving patients, families, or visitors and maintains a safe environment by following infection control protocols and keeping assigned areas clean.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED

Schedule/Shift

• 40hrs FT
• Monday-Thursday (9am-730p)

Salary Information

• Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
• Hourly Range: $18.81 to $28.22
