Job summary

Auburn Marriott Opelika Resort & Spa at Grand National is seeking a Recreation Attendant to maintain the hotel’s recreational areas and assist guests with activities. You will help keep the pool and beach areas clean, set up equipment, and ensure safety for all guests in a friendly, professional manner.

You will also monitor pool conditions, operate watercraft for guest enjoyment, and handle related paperwork while ensuring high hospitality standards throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Wamiliar with safety awareness and proactive issue identification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all areas of the pool and recreational facilities daily, ensuring cleanliness and safety.
• Assist guests with activities, provide information, and set up equipment as needed.
• Enforce pool rules to ensure guest safety and enjoyment.
• Monitor pool chemicals and water balance; report issues as required.
• Inspect and maintain pool slide and beach area equipment for safe operation.
• Complete paperwork related to pool operations and activities (tickets, reports, records).
• Operate beach and watercraft equipment as needed for guest safety and enjoyment.
• Greet guests, liaise between hotel staff and guests, and address inquiries promptly.
• Supervise children's activities during designated camp periods and manage releases and billing paperwork.
