Job summary

MHG Hotels LLC seeks a dedicated hotel housekeeper to ensure guests enjoy a spotless and welcoming room experience. You will handle check-ins, respond to requests, and maintain housekeeping standards across all areas, while protecting guest confidentiality and hotel assets.

You’ll work with a friendly team, demonstrate attention to detail, and support colleagues during busy shifts with a customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• The hotel housekeeper must maintain a professional demeanor.
• Must be warm, welcoming and able to engage others.
• Be genuinely caring and compassionate, and understand others.
• Create confidence and trust while speaking with guests at the right time.
• Ability to converse with people from diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Organize, confirm, and process guest check-in/check-outs and adapt for changes, verify guest identity.
• Respond to and resolve guest requests.
• Secure payments, verifying and adjusting billing as needed.
• Provide guests with room and hotel information, directions, amenities, and local interests.
• Run daily reports, communicating to the next shift’s staff.
• Complete cashier and closing reports, counting the bank at the end of each shift.
• Accept and record wake-up calls, delivering to the right department.
• Maintain confidentiality of all guests and proprietary information.
• Communicate emergencies, lost items, or theft to staff or authorities.
• Report maintenance problems and safety hazards.
• Keep contingency lists and communicate necessary messages.
• Protect company assets.
• Comply with quality assurance expectations.
