Job summary

Best Western Plus Provo University Inn is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented team member to support daily laundry operations behind the scenes. You will sort, wash, dry, fold, and deliver clean linens and towels to hotel departments. This role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and a courteous guest-focused attitude.

Flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required to meet hotel needs. No prior experience is required, but familiarity with laundry equipment helps.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, or a similar environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail.
• Comfortable standing, lifting, bending, and moving laundry carts or supplies as needed.
• Basic understanding of laundry equipment and cleaning processes is helpful.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable, professional, and committed to maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items according to established procedures.
• Inspect items for stains, damage, and quality concerns, and report issues as needed.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently, following all cleaning and maintenance guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and sanitary laundry work area.
• Track inventory levels of laundry supplies and communicate restocking needs.
• Deliver clean laundry to appropriate departments in a timely manner.
• Assist with sorting and handling guest laundry when applicable.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and hotel policies and procedures.
• Provide courteous and professional service while supporting the needs of the hotel team.
