Job summary

Ontario Trillium Foundation is seeking a Cook to join our kitchen team in New York. You will prepare raw ingredients, read tickets, follow recipes, and ensure proper portioning while upholding strict sanitation standards in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.

You will work with a cohesive team to deliver great-tasting meals, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to memorable guest experiences through hospitality and teamwork, flexibility in scheduling, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience preparing ingredients according to recipes.
• Ability to maintain high sanitation and cleanliness.
• Team-oriented and flexible in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand our Guest-Obsessed culture and do whatever it takes to create a positive and memorable guest experience.
• Prepare raw ingredients, and follow strict recipes.
• Use proper portioning techniques.
• Read tickets to determine what/when items need to be prepared.
• Clean station floors, counters, tools, cutting boards, and preparation surfaces to ensure station is clean and sanitized at all times.
