Job summary

Onvo is seeking a friendly, customer-focused associate to greet guests, assist with inquiries and purchases, and help maintain a clean, well-stocked sales counter at our travel plaza.

You will handle cash and card payments accurately at the register, process fuel and lottery transactions, and address questions with courtesy while adhering to company policies. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer service or cashier role preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries and purchases.
• Operate a cash register, handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and well-stocked sales counter and surrounding areas.
• Scan and bag merchandise, ensuring correct pricing and product identification.
• Process fuel sales, lottery tickets, and other services offered at the travel plaza.
• Address customer concerns or complaints courteously and elevate issues to management when necessary.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to cash handling, age-restricted sales, and safety.
• Assist with stocking shelves and merchandising products as needed.
