Job summary

The Lodge at Schroon Lake is hiring servers to greet guests, present menus, and help with menu selections while ensuring accuracy and courtesy. You will coordinate with the kitchen and bar, take orders in the POS, and ensure correct delivery and timing of meals.

We offer a pay rate of $13.00 per hour plus gratuity, positive team culture, and travel discounts for staff. Previous serving experience is preferred and legal age to serve alcohol is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Server is preferred; must be of legal age if serving alcohol.
• Provide high-level customer service and maintain composure while assisting guests.
• Ability to learn quickly, follow instructions, and work well with the team.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to tables.
• Present menus, explain specials, and answer questions about items.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages, ensuring correct portions, presentation, and temperature.
• Monitor tableware and utensils for cleanliness and replace as needed.
• Anticipate guests' needs and provide proactive assistance and refills.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar for timely delivery of orders.
• Relay guest feedback to management to ensure satisfaction.
• Process payments securely and present bills at the end of meals.
