Job summary

Keagan's in Virginia Beach Town Center is hiring for a guest-focused server role in a high-volume, full-service restaurant. You will interact with guests, recommend food and drinks, and deliver timely service in a friendly atmosphere.

You will adhere to all alcohol service regulations and Steps of Service, maintain clean and stocked sections, and participate in set-up and break-down tasks while representing the Keagan's brand with enthusiasm.

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant setting is preferred.
• Strong organization and communication skills, and the ability to multi-task.
• Knowledge of local alcohol service regs and POS familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make food and beverage recommendations to guests to best suit preferences and tastes.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a friendly, timely and accurate manner within an assigned section.
• Interact with guests to ensure a memorable experience.
• Adhere to local and state laws regarding service of alcohol and food; follow Steps of Service and alcohol service standards.
• Keep the section and stations clean, stocked, and organized.
• Assist in set-up and break-down tasks and represent the brand locally.
• Have fun while delivering excellent hospitality.
