The Stonebridge Hospitality Associates in Basking Ridge, NJ is seeking a full-time Restaurant Server to join our dining team. The successful candidate will provide friendly, professional service in the dining room, lounge, and banquet settings, handling orders, suggesting wine pairings, and ensuring guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, relaying orders to kitchen, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting setup and teardown for events.

Formación

• Prior server experience preferred.
• Ability to perform arithmetic for totals and making change.
• Strong communication to provide information and service to guests.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as trays.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains high standards of food and beverage quality and guest service.
• Greets guests promptly and professionally upon arrival.
• Takes drink orders and presents the menu to guests, answering questions and providing suggestions.
• Relays orders to the kitchen and beverage services accurately.
• Observes guests to anticipate additional needs and provides timely service.
• Clears and resets tables after guest departure.
• Completes assigned side work and ensures all work and storage areas are clean.
• Understands and follows MSDS for safety compliance.
• Assists with setup, cleaning, and refreshing of function rooms when needed.
• Attends department meetings to stay informed of service standards and expectations.
