Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a friendly and efficient Restaurant Server to join our full-time team in Basking Ridge, NJ. You will serve guests in the dining room, lounge, and banquets, ensuring food and beverage quality while delivering outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking drink orders, describing menu items, relaying orders to the kitchen, bussing and resetting tables, and supporting event setup while adhering to safety standards and MSDS guidelines.

Qualifications

• Prior server experience preferred.
• Ability to total costs and make change.
• Strong communication to provide information and deliver service.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Serves food in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner.
• Greets guests promptly and professionally upon arrival.
• Takes drink orders and presents the menu, answering questions and suggesting items.
• Relays orders to the kitchen and beverage services accurately.
• Observes guests to anticipate needs and provide timely service.
• Clears and resets tables after guest departure.
• Completes side work and keeps work and storage areas clean.
• Follows MSDS safety procedures as required.
• Assists with setup, cleaning, and refreshing function rooms.
• Attends department meetings to stay informed of service standards.
