Job summary

Black Bear Diners is seeking a friendly server to provide prompt, individualized service in a fast-paced, family-friendly environment. You will greet guests, take orders, and deliver food with a focus on making the dining experience positive so guests want to return.

You will use the POS system, maintain clean work areas, assist teammates, and ensure guests leave satisfied and eager to return. Flexibility with nights, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering friendly, prompt service.
• Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Basic math skills and ability to handle money.
• Familiar with dining room procedures and company standards.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet guests; take food and beverage orders.
• Enter orders in the POS system and deliver food promptly.
• Run food orders from the pick-up window and pre-bus tables.
• Maintain clean service areas and monitor guest dining experience.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and assist fellow servers.
