Job summary

BX Eatery in the South Bronx is seeking a friendly Server / Cashier Team Member to welcome guests, accurately take orders, process payments, and support table service. This role helps keep the dining area clean and ready for service while maintaining an energetic, guest-focused atmosphere.

Ideal candidates have prior restaurant or cashier experience, strong communication skills, and reliability. This in-person position offers a part-time or full-time schedule and competitive hourly pay with tips.

Qualifications

• Prior restaurant, cashier, server, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Comfortable using a POS system or willing to learn.
• Able to multitask and stay organized during busy shifts.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Food handler certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service.
• Take guest orders accurately at the counter, table, or POS.
• Process cash, card, and digital payments accurately.
• Handle takeout, delivery, and dine-in orders as needed.
• Run food and drinks to guests when needed.
• Monitor guest concerns and communicate issues to management promptly.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and service standards.
