Job summary

Convive Brands’ Le Pain Quotidien location in Washington is seeking team members who take pride in hospitality and delivering warm, attentive service. You will handle orders, maintain menu knowledge, and help create a welcoming dining experience for guests at every visit.

Join our on-site team to master the Toast POS, support opening/closing tasks, cash handling, and maintain a clean, organized dining and retail area while delivering exceptional guest experiences daily.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast.
• Flexibility in schedule is highly preferred but not required.
• Cross-training in dining room and retail spaces is advantageous.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Receive orders, enter into POS, and coordinate with kitchen as needed.
• Anticipate guest needs and note preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of pastry, bread, beverages, and retail items.
• Prepare drinks for the dining room as needed.
• Handle guest situations with empathy and escalate when necessary.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures and daily tasks.
• Organize money and receipts per cash handling policy.
• Keep all areas clean and organized per checklists.
• Assist with setting up patio furniture and outdoor fixtures where applicable.
