Job summary

Piper restaurant at The Seabird Resort in Oceanside, CA is seeking a Server Assistant. The role supports the Food Server and helps ensure a seamless guest experience with a warm, knowledgeable service style.

Candidates should have 6 months to 1+ years in Food & Beverage, strong communication, and stamina. The position requires full-time availability including mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 6 months to 1+ years' experience in a Food and Beverage role.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate weight.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Must be available for a full time schedule of up to five days a week, mornings/afternoons/nights/weekends & holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, humble and knowledgeable service throughout the property
• Liaise with restaurant and outlet operations staff to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Positive attitude with initial greetings of guests
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and flexible, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under time constraints
• Ability to listen, communicate, and make connections with locals, guests, & colleagues
