Job summary

Subway is seeking a friendly team member in Fort Wayne to greet guests, prepare food, and maintain high safety and sanitation standards. You will operate the POS system, take payments, and help keep the restaurant clean and well-stocked.

You will follow Subway procedures, explain menu items to guests, and complete light paperwork while delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner while greeting guests and preparing their orders.
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains them to guests accurately.
• Uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record the order and compute the amount of the bill.
• Collects payment from guests and makes change.
• Prepares food neatly, according to formula, and in a timely manner.
• Checks products in sandwich unit area and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift.
• Adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards.
• Maintains cleanliness in all areas of the restaurant and follows the 3-step cleaning method.
• Complies with SUBWAY Operations Manual and grooming standards.
• Performs light paperwork duties as assigned.
• Completes University of SUBWAY courses as directed.
