Job summary

Kiawah Island Golf Resort is hiring a retail attendant to serve guests in our on-site shop, provide accurate POS transactions, and assist with Kiawah apparel, groceries, beer and wine. The role emphasizes friendly, professional service with teamwork and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or GED preferred; currently in school or graduates acceptable.
• At least 6 months of prior retail experience is preferred.
• For grocery delivery, a valid SC driver’s license is required.
• Must be able to handle monetary transactions accurately and securely.
• Must work well independently and as part of a team; good communication is essential.
• Ability to pass a background check is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate, informative service to guests and residents.
• Operate the point of sale system and respond to in-person or phone inquiries.
• Assist guests with purchases and ensure proper handling of transactions.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding events and guest information.
