Job summary

Homewood Suites Odessa is seeking an experienced Housekeeper to maintain clean guest rooms, corridors and public areas with a focus on guest satisfaction and safety. You will contribute to a welcoming environment while upholding cleanliness standards and brand guidelines.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays, and a strong emphasis on teamwork, communication and hospitality. Training will emphasize safety, checklists, and guest-first service.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred.
• Can-Do Attitude: positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to Follow Guidelines: follow established guidelines and procedures.
• Handle Pace and Pressure: work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.

• Call Outs: provide sufficient notice when calling out.

Responsibilities

• Guest Relations: greet guests upon arrival and during stay with a smile.

• Hotel Knowledge: know hotel facilities and amenities.
• Events: support groups and events at the hotel.

• Phone Etiquette: answer calls with friendly service using approved greeting.
• Pre-Cleaning and Stocking: stock supplies, attend stand-up, manage linens.
• Clean and Stock Rooms: thoroughly clean and restock rooms per shift.
• Additional Cleaning Projects: assist in storage rooms, public spaces, and more.
