Job summary

Island Hospitality is seeking a Room Attendant to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across guest rooms and public spaces at the Residence Inn Silicon Valley I. You will perform basic housekeeping duties, replace linens, restock supplies, vacuum, dust and prepare rooms for checkout, ensuring guest satisfaction.

The role requires a team-minded, proactive individual able to stay calm under pressure, handle guest requests, and report damages.

Qualifications

• Strong initiative and desire for achievement.
• Ability to handle problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
• Able to work well in stressful situations.
• Be readily available and approachable for guests while providing excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing sheets, towels, restocking supplies, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning and rearranging rooms after checkout.
• Ensure all rooms are cared for according to brand and IHM standards.
• Notify supervisors of damages, deficits, and disturbances.
