Job summary

Maine Course Hospitality Group is seeking a Maintenance Manager to support daily hotel operations by performing repairs, preventive maintenance, and ensuring all systems run safely. This hands-on leadership role directly impacts guest experience by keeping the property in top condition and compliant with safety standards.

The role requires strong problem-solving, scheduling, and collaboration with the General Manager and department leaders.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or facilities experience preferred in hotels.
• Management experience required.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of issues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and perform physical labor as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily general maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Complete routine preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, equipment, and appliances.
• Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests and guest service needs.
• Maintain property safety by inspecting and repairing locks, doors, alarms, lighting, and other safety systems.
• Assist with pool/spa operations (if applicable), including chemical testing and equipment maintenance.
• Support cleanliness and upkeep of building exteriors, grounds, and hotel equipment.
• Work closely with the General Manager and department leaders to coordinate repairs and prioritize tasks.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation of completed work.
• Monitor supply inventory and communicate needs for tools, parts, or equipment.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety protocols, and all local/state regulations.
