Job summary

Target is seeking a frontline General Merchandise associate to deliver a friendly guest experience in a fast-paced store environment. Qualifications

• Guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest-first culture across the store.
• Retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement.
• Executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience by delivering on the following commitments: greet guests, assist with finding items, and resolve issues for a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you and maintain a positive, respectful attitude with teammates.
• Support backroom organization, restocking shelves, pricing, and merchandising setup to meet business priorities.
• Operate power equipment if certified to move merchandise or store fixtures.
• Follow all Target policies and safety procedures to maintain a safe workplace and report hazards.
• Assist guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes (pickup orders, etc.).
