Job summary

Spec's Family Partners is seeking a Front-End Associate to provide exceptional guest service at the register. You will handle transactions, assist customers, and maintain a neat, organized checkout area to ensure a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, scanning items, applying discounts, and supporting inventory or carry-out tasks as needed. Prior cashiering or retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Read, comprehend and follow simple instructions.
• Able to communicate with guests and coworkers effectively.
• HS diploma or GED preferred; willingness to learn required.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with checkout using the register.
• Scan items, ensure correct pricing and apply discounts when applicable.
• Handle cash, checks, debit/credit, or gift cards and issue receipts.
• Bag or box merchandise and assist with carry-outs when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized checkout area and stock supplies.
• Resolve guest questions and complaints with courtesy.
• Assist with inventory and price tag checks as required.
• Follow safety regulations and company procedures daily.
