AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Food Service Worker at Oberlin College to join our dining services team. You will assist in the preparation of hot and cold foods, set up stations, serve guests, and help maintain clean, safe work areas.

Qualifications

• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to communicate with other team members and other departments with professionalism and respect.
• Maintain a professional relationship with all team members, vendor representatives, supervisors, managers, customers, and client representatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of hot and cold foods and properly store them.
• Set up stations with entre9es, soups, salads, breads, condiments, and utensils.
• Interact with guests in the serving, retail and dining areas.
• Follow proper guest service procedures by smiling, making eye contact and greeting guests.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following all client and regulatory rules and procedures.
• Maintain a fast pace and the ability to multitask while performing duties.
