Job summary

Huey''s Restaurant is seeking a conscientious Food Runner to be the vital link between the kitchen and dining room, delivering meals quickly, accurately, and with friendly service. You will assist guests and servers, keep stations clean, restock supplies, and help create a positive dining experience during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Good communication and teamwork required.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced restaurant.
• Attention to detail and guest satisfaction focus.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 30 pounds.
• Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Alcohol service certification as required by state/regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food to guests accurately and promptly.
• Verify food quality and presentation before leaving kitchen.
• Communicate issues or modifications to kitchen and management.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items and daily specials.
• Assist servers by refilling beverages and delivering condiments.
• Greet and seat guests when needed.
• Bus and reset tables; keep dining room clean.
• Monitor dining room cleanliness and restrooms.
• Restock supplies and complete assigned side work.
• Maintain urgency during busy periods with friendly service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
