Job summary

Boyd Gaming is seeking a friendly food and beverage service associate to greet guests, take orders, and deliver meals in a fast-paced dining room. You will ensure accuracy on orders and provide attentive service in a welcoming environment.

Role requires standing and walking for long periods and the ability to lift trays up to 40 pounds. You will use a computerized guest check system, handle payments, balance trays, and keep dining areas clean while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Six months of food and beverage service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of shift.
• Able to lift and carry trays weighing approximately 40 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Utilize computer system for placing food and beverage orders and processing payments.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Receive and serve food and beverage orders from guests.
• Greet and communicate with guests in a friendly, courteous manner.
• Receive and process food and beverage orders from guests utilizing a computerized guest check system.
• Retrieve prepared orders from kitchen area and deliver to guests.
• Carry and balance trays and/or push cart of food and beverages through kitchen and dining room (approximately 20 to 30 pounds).
• Maintain cleanliness of all areas of the dining room.
• Present check to guest. Collects payment and/or deliver to cashier.
