Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Charlotte, NC seeks a retail cashier to assist customers with selecting and purchasing items. You will operate the cash register, collect payments, prepare receipts, and balance the drawer at shift end.

Additional duties include responding to customer questions, assisting with donations, and maintaining clean, orderly displays and a secure register area. A high school diploma or GED and prior retail experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist store customers in selecting and purchasing items.
• Operate and maintain the cash register, collect money, and prepare receipts.
• Balance cash drawer and print routine receipts.
• Prepare and deliver bank deposits when required.
• Respond to customer questions and assist with donations.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of merchandise and displays.
• Keep register area secure and clean.
